Day
1 Guwahati Airport/Railway Station – Kaziranga National Park

Morning: Arrive at Guwahati Airport/Railway Station. Transfer to Kaziranga National Park (220 km / 5 hrs).
En Route: Visit Maha Mrityunjay Temple for a spiritual experience.
Afternoon: Arrive at Kaziranga, check in at your hotel.
Evening: Free for leisure. Explore the hotel amenities or relax after your journey.
Overnight: Stay in Kaziranga.

2 Kaziranga National Park

Early Morning: Experience an elephant ride in one zone of the park (subject to availability).

Wildlife: Look out for the One-Horned Rhinoceros, along with Hog Deer, Swamp Deer, Wild Buffalo, Elephants, and possibly even a tiger.

Breakfast: Return to the resort for breakfast.
Afternoon: Enjoy a jeep safari through the National Park.
Later: Visit Kaziranga Orchid Park to see beautiful orchids and learn about local flora.
Evening: Return to the hotel for leisure.
Overnight: Stay in Kaziranga.

Important Note:

Elephant rides and jeep safaris: These activities are regulated by the Forest Department of Assam. It’s advisable to book in advance if possible, as availability can vary.

3 Kaziranga National Park – Shillong

Morning: After breakfast, proceed to Shillong (295 km / 7 hrs), known as 'Scotland of the East.'
En Route: Stop at Umium Lake for stunning views and photo opportunities.
Afternoon: Arrive in Shillong and check in at your hotel.
Evening: Free for leisure; consider exploring local markets or cafes.
Overnight: Stay in Shillong.

4 Excursion to Cherrapunjee

Early Morning: After breakfast, drive to Cherrapunjee (60 km / 3 hrs one way).
Activities:

Visit Nohkalikai Falls, one of the tallest waterfalls in India.
Explore Mawsmai Caves to see unique limestone formations.

En Route Back: Stop at Elephanta Falls for another scenic view.
Evening: Return to Shillong.
Overnight: Stay in Shillong.

5 Shillong Sightseeing – Guwahati

Morning: After breakfast, visit:

Don Bosco Museum (closed on Sundays) for insights into the region’s culture.
Ward’s Lake for a relaxing stroll.

Afternoon: Drive to Guwahati (100 km / 3 hrs). Check in at your hotel.
Evening: Optional golden sunset cruise on the Brahmaputra (direct payment).
Overnight: Stay in Guwahati.

6 Departure

Morning: After breakfast, visit Kamakhya Temple (timings: 08:00 A.M. to 01:00 P.M. & 3:00 P.M. until dark).
Transfer: Depending on your departure time, you may need to adjust your visit to the temple.
After Temple Visit: Check out from the hotel and transfer to Guwahati Airport/Railway Station for your onward journey.
Important Notes:
- Travel Times: Be mindful that road conditions may vary, so allow for flexibility in your schedule.
- Local Cuisine: Make sure to try local dishes, especially in Shillong, such as Jadoh and Pitha.
- Packing: Bring comfortable clothing and footwear, and consider rain gear, especially in Cherrapunjee, which is known for heavy rainfall.

We calculate your cost according to 1 USD = 81 INR if any change in foreign exchange you need to pay

Cancellation of Flight tickets is as per airline policy.

100% Amount is mandatory to issue an Air Ticket.

50% Amount is mandatory to book your land package

Travel Agency Service cost will be charged on cancellation of the package, hotel, flight, cruise, bus, taxi, activities etc

All refund and cancellation policies are as per the travel agency. - Itinerary may be subject to change due to climatic conditions or other reasons.

Any change in No. of Pax will attract a change in cost.

Christmas/New Year/Peak season surcharge may apply to be borne by the traveller

An itinerary will be Fixed No Amendment in date/time allowed.

The standard time of check-in is at 14:00 o’clock. and standard check-out is at 12:00 o’clock.

Early Check-in and late Check-Out unless pre-booked and paid in advance are subject to availability.

A mandatory refundable security deposit may be required at the Hotel at the time of check-in. The amount may vary depending on the hotel. Cash or credit card is acceptable. The amount is refunded at the time of check-out after clearing all incidental charges.

Cancelation Policy

More than 60 days before the tour: Booking Amount

60 – 46 days before the tour: Non-Refundable Component + 15% of Tour Cost

45 – 31 days before the tour: Non-Refundable Component + 25% of Tour Cost

30 - 15 days before the tour: Non-Refundable Component + 55% of Tour Cost

14 – 6 days before the tour: Non-Refundable Component + 80% of Tour Cost

6 – 1 days before the tour: Full Cancellation

Payment Policy

The payment schedule is unique to your package booking and is based on the following factors: location, date of booking, additions, airlines and hotel payment policies, etc.

A payment plan will be included in the package proposal we send you.

Travel Route retains the right to cancel the reservation after making an effort to contact you if payment is not received according to the timetable specified in the initial booking confirmation email.

The cancellation policy for the package would govern refunds.
